7.1Named for the street she grew up on, her debut works as memoir and meditation, disillusionment without despair. The restraint is the point: she's not shouting for attention, just leaving the door ajar. It can get predictable, and the orchestral climax of Common Sense shows how much a bit more contrast would have helped. Designed to grow on you gradually.
