45 Pounds

45 pounds, my first impression was a breath of new sound I hadn’t heard before fresh and heavy and fun. Second impression was the joy and hype pumping this album at the gym it hits very hard. Third impression was walking on the beach and the recognition of the incredible songwriting and the message and how perfectly it fits into the instruments, it sounds like a barely contained bunch of animals playing there heart out but with incredible technical skill. Incredibly tactile and ferociously angry but still whimsical in its own unique way. I have never heard anger and despair and love expressed so well. I hate to use trope but it takes you on a journey.
