Foreign Tongues

It’s lovely. Raw, loud, full of heart. And when you remember they’re old and still making this kind of music, it just becomes even better.

It’s not been out in the world too long, but there is something that keeps me wanting to go back and listen to this. It’s not for the singles, it’s the songs like Back In Your Life, Side Effects and Never Wanna Lose You, that make me want to hear more. The production on this album is superb, giving it a real drive throughout. I’ve heard people say to listen to an album get in the car and play it through the speakers, and this album sounds perfect

It’s a little bloated, but the keepers are some of the Stones’ best work in recent memory. They have no business sounding this good at this stage in life.
