I love a lot of music, from rock to country western, from pop to folk. I am not a huge fan of today’s country music and I am not big into the rap genre.

Special ForcesAlice Cooper

My all time favorite Alice Cooper album. I loved this era from him even though I know he doesn’t play any of it live because he says he doesn’t remember making the music . I love his sense of humor and the cheekiness of his music.. Alice is an incredibly underrated song writer and I love the majority of his music.

Bat Out of HellMeat Loaf

Meatloaf can belt! In my youth I thought this album to be so deep, but as an adult I find the lyrics to be a tad over the top. I realize that Jim Steinman wrote a “rock opera” so I am pretty sure over the top is what he was aiming for. A good solid album sung by a big guy who can definitely sing.

Caught in the Middle is a jam and the lyrics cracked me up. I love Pent Up also. I am hoping they put out another album soonish and I look forward to seeing them live.

Darkness on the Edge of TownBruce Springsteen

My favorite Springsteen album. I absolutely hated Bruce Springsteen’s music until I heard this album. All I had heard prior was Born In the USA and it did nothing for me. This album stirred something inside the 16 year old me and a Springsteen fan was born. There is never a song skip when listening to Darkness.

Another decent Springsteen album, but not on the top of my list. I like that he decided to go record a very different album than any he had previously recorded, but it feels heavy to me. I think that’s what he was going for., but it’s not my vibe. Love some of the tracks on this solid album

One of my most listened to albums. Rick Ocasek’s music and Ben Orr’s cool voice just pair perfectly. The songs Rick sings are great also, but my favorites tend to be Ben songs. They are one of the most underrated bands ever in my humble opinion.

RumoursFleetwood Mac

There is not a bad track on this album. It’s amazing that they made such a fantastic piece considering they were high and fighting at the time. But maybe that’s where some of the magic comes from is in the angst, especially from Nicks and Buckingham. Christine’s haunting vocals in Songbird make it an absolute favorite for me and I am typically not a huge fan of her vocals. Just a great album all around.
