Austin's own Alejandro Rose-Garcia offers haunting tunes across this record with a notable contribution from Esme Patterson on "Dearly Departed". Shakey Graves is know for his unique blend of folk and rock and often playing guitar, percussion, and vocals all at once. "And The War Came" did not fall flat following his breakout debut album "Roll The Bones".

60's pop-inspired easy listening. Whitney's 2016 debut album is both light-hearted and somber. Light Upon The Lake is an album I've returned to frequently for the past decade.
