I saw X at a punk show at of all places USC in the early 80s. They helped me realize a poetic rage that I didn’t understand but was feeling oh so hard.

Harry played an early demo version of this record for my mom while he was trying to get her to leave my father who was supposedly his best friend. I hid under the dining table and listened while they did grown up stuff.
