The only album by this unfortunately short-lived Scottish band. A real hidden gem within indie scene. Great energy, poetic and vulnerable yet edgy and bold style of Sue Tompkins on vocals. I like how her spoken word rhymes with the arrangements. Nice guitar work. And while I am writing this review I see that they are having a reformation show in London in November which I will miss. So if you are one of the lucky ones - fuck you to death, man! :)

I think these guys are becoming the new ABBA, in terms of significance.

Dark, SLOW, haunting, Lynchy electrojazz from Germany.

Album and track names say a lot about the music. Meditative, airy, spiritual, modular ambient jazz with roots in Reich, Sanders, Eno and Spiegel.

Basic Channel on a little Persian hand drum.

Misha Panfilov is a hyper-productive Estonian composer and multi-instrumentalist, easily moving between jazz, experimental electronica, psychodelia, library, and more. This album is my favourite and I cannot get enough of it. For me it is almost like a one long song, balancing between jazz and library sound, kind, emotional, atmospheric, peaceful but never boring. A remedy for stress and anxiety. Hire someone to flip the record, lean back and enjoy. Or just turn on repeat cause this record aint cheap.

Tight, atmospheric, psychodelic, krauty record from this Japanese band. An album with no bad songs, in a language with no familiar words. Somehow, the Japanese always manage to turn established genres into something of their own.

American primitive guitar as a soundtrack for a road movie. Pedigo is a great player and does a fantastic work with harmonies, feelings and atmosphere but most of all takes the gengre further adding air, ambience, and more complex and deep sound.
