This album may be their most popular, but a lot of what they made here sounds like the reheated nachos of songs and artists from 30 years earlier.

Ahead of its time, 20 years later it feels like it’s brand new. Bands will try to replicate the magic of this for decades to come.

Not the follow up to Hot Fuss that I wanted when it dropped. The Killers have stayed impressing me over their career, returning to this record showed that it was never that bad.
