Elton’s best album IMO, like nothing else he’s done. Well known tracks such as Tiny Dancer (thank you Cameron Crowe) and Levon, paired with the longer and more epic title track and Indian Sunset….sampled by none other than 2Pac!

Possibly Elton’s best. The lyrical and sonic images are vivid and at times harsh. It exists on its own plain, really - defying the single genre mainstream radio tried to make it be. Both the hits and the deep cuts are rewarding listens.
