8.0To me, this is a terrific TD album. I’m not sure it would show up on many “best of” lists. TD, if you’re not aware, is an electronic group that could be the beginning of Ambient music. I’ve always felt that they kind of take the synthesizer parts of Pink Floyd and expand those parts into the stratosphere. Not that they sound like PF but if you’re think about Echoes expanded to the Nth degree you’ll be in the place where TD lives and works. Moog synthesizer, ARP 2600, early drum machines and some guitar give us all the bleeps and blurbs we could want. No real stand out tracks just start any (of the 4) tracks and let the electricity take you away.
