Twilight Override feels like Jeff Tweedy doing exactly what he wants, with nothing left to prove. Warm, loose, sometimes messy, but always human. Folk, country and indie rock blend naturally, while his lyrics turn ordinary life, ageing and anxiety into something meaningful. Thirty songs sounds excessive — somehow, it isn’t. My 2cts
