I know it should be higher according to everyone else but for me it’s just an amazing album that has a lot of things I like. Big swings huge arrangements and classics. For me I just can’t get into 30% of the thing. That kind of soda pop soul r&b is not my thing.

Classic genre defining album. Changed my childhood and all music to follow.

You gotta like the flute! If you do this is for you a reallly fun soulful album with funk beats and yeah a lot of flute action.

Says r&b / soul but it’s way more than that. It’s indie rock soul with r&b vibes. It’s unique. It’s perfectly produced and laid out wonderfully

This is my first interaction with this band. These efforts will sing about anything. Literally. Anything. And I love it! Well, those situations were the B side to me was better than A. It’s really a lot going on here. Some punk some Synth punk some dreamy Indie rock.

I remember the mania this band caused. My first real understanding of what Beatle mania must have been like. I don’t think I liked it as much at the time as I do now.

Okay so it’s an odd one being that it’s in German but this is good ass shit. Again it’s complicated cause the vocals are a bit rough but if you can get by that it’s a kick ass synths fun punky upbeat gem

This is brilliant. Melodic gorgeous voice that sounds old school late 70s soft rock but in the indie smooth good way. If you like Wilco, real estate, fleet foxes you will love them

Yeah it’s official these guys are amazing. Second album I’m listening to this year and both are just absolutely incredible. Fun. Jammy, punky, well produced and well executed. This may be a stretch but when I was young I heard the chili peppers BSSM and I didn’t know what I was hearing….these guys make me feel that way.

Yeah I’m late to this. I was pretty young when it came out but still. Another prime as a whole album it’s good. Not an absolute world beater as many would say but is a good full listen.

A classic known for the album cover as much if not more than the music. If I’m being honest maybe I like the covers nostalgia more than I do the nostalgia of the music.

I finally got around to giving this a go. I have seen it in so many collectors show off walls. I have never been a fan of the Smiths singles I’ve heard throughout life. I thinks it’s because I don’t like his voice. However, I get it now. Per usual with thoughtful artist, the album is a whole and is better than the sum of its parts. This is about as true to that statement as it gets. maybe other Smiths albums are the same. We shall find out

Yeah it’s a classic of my youth. Not my favorite Radiohead but I see why so many people say it is. And no Rainbows isn’t either.

Oh I dig this so much! Fun tight rock indie country but not really country maybe more like poppy folk. Like Real estate meets Wilco Hell idk but it’s so good. As was their other album billion little lights.

It’s brilliant. She is a gift. The product is stunning. The music is melodic and smooth. I do not think I adore it as much as most do but I think it’s only because I’m not as emotionally smart as most. Lyrically I’m just not that deep to fully grasp her balance without someone telling me it’s brilliant and I don’t think that’s a fair way to judge or rate something. I want to feel it and get it at my level.

Where in the F I have been! This is brilliant! We need to be talking about this band more. Indie electronic shoegaze rock pop….I guess is a good way to describe them. Kinda like Washed out. idk but I love it so damn much. diamonds for me.

What an original group. Folk soul punk vibes all of it. Just wonderful. Kind of Turnstile if Turnstile was folky. Idk it’s perplexing to me at least. In a good way. They are form New Orleans and to me I can feel it. Maybe I’m making that up to fit the narrative. Because Nothing about their music is NO sounding in the traditional sense but the way they play, his voice, the soul of the music all just feel that way to me.

Now that’s how you debut! Best of 2026 for sure. Full well thought out album. Love the production and the combined vocals. Good shit. If you like wild pink, geese, American football, medium build, Hayley Williams, real estate…you will like.

Classic. Bangers hits and fun songs. Extremely well produced and executed. This album lead many to discover legends like Ebo Taylor and other African beat artists. Great entry into that world and blending both American folk with Afro beat.

I don’t know what else to say, but this is a perfect album. This is how you create a full experience. These anre artist! true musical masters as a whole. I don’t know much about music playing and I don’t know if their masters individually but as a whole, this is a masterpiece this is a masterful record. It’s soulful it’s haunting It’s beautiful It’s everything I want. Every listen is better than the last. It’s shamefully unrecognized.

Unbelievable overrated. Unbelievably under-appreciated. Well produced well sung well played. A gem. (catch documentary if you can)
